This is the power of membership
Our sole purpose is to advocate on your behalf — fighting for policies that benefit businesses, communities, and families across Canada. The bonus of cost saving benefits are literally the icing on the cake.
The Canadian Chamber leadership meets regularly with the Prime Minister and maintains near daily communication with the Federal Ministers and their staff — ensuring that your voice is being heard. The BC Chamber of Commerce mirrors these efforts provincially with the Premier and the BC Ministers.
Just days into the pandemic in March 2020, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce brought together its vast network — 450 chambers of commerce and boards of trade, over 100 of Canada’s leading business and industry associations, including the Business Council of Canada, the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business, the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters and the Retail Council of Canada — to speak with one voice as we faced the enormous challenges of the pandemic. The collaborative work towards a dynamic wholistic and forward-thinking approach continues in earnest today.
