Policy Development

The Campbell River & District Chamber of Commerce works regularly with our counterparts both across the country and the province to develop policy. These policies, once passed at their perspective AGM’s — are then shared with the Prime Minister and the Federal Ministers as well as the Premier and the Provincial Ministers. Given the depth and breadth of the chamber network — 220,000+ businesses coast to coast to coast — the policies developed assist and provide guidance to both the federal and provincial governments as they draft legislation and policy.
